- Left click to begin the unboxing sequence.
- Accept the Wishmaster’s offer.
- Attach the HUD to your viewer.
Attachment Points
Wishmaster attaches by default to the TOP-RIGHT corner of your screen, but can be moved to TOP-LEFT, BOTTOM-RIGHT, or BOTTOM-LEFT.
HUD Navigation
The Index Page
The Index Page functions as your spellbook’s table of contents, listing all available spell chapters.
Click anywhere on the HUD background (not on a button) to return to the Index Page.
Spell Chapters
Wishmaster contains over 60 spells and variants, organized into seven thematic chapters. Each chapter groups spells by type (e.g., Elemental).
Click a chapter name to view the spells within that chapter.
If a chapter has many spells (e.g., Eldritch), both sides of the spellbook will be displayed. Otherwise, only one page is shown.
From the Index Page, click anywhere on the background (not a button) to hide the HUD and show a small icon. Click the icon to restore the HUD.
Note: You can only minimize Wishmaster from the Index Page. Clicking the background elsewhere will return you to the Index.
Adjusting the Size
Change the HUD size using the following command and size declaration:
Available sizes: small, medium, large
Example: /9 hud size large
Specify a numeric size directly if desired:
Example: /9 hud size 0.2
Default HUD size is
medium(approximately0.35). Adjust as needed—Wishmaster will scale accordingly.
Changing the Command Channel
Wishmaster commands are issued on channel 9 by default (e.g., /9 dispel).
Change the channel with:
/9 hud channel #
Example:/9 hud channel 4allows you to use/4 dispel.
Casting Spells
There are several ways to cast spells with Wishmaster.
From the HUD
- Click the name of the spell you want to cast.
- Select the target from the dropdown menu.
The Camera
When using the CAMERA option, spells cast directly in front of where your camera is focused.
To aim with your camera, ALT+CLICK on your intended target before casting. A brief targeting reticle will confirm your aim.
Using Commands
All spells (except elementals) can be cast via command. Macro these in gestures or type them manually.
By default, use channel 9; if you’ve changed the channel, use that instead.
Command Format:
/9 spell target
Examples:
/9 teleport torley— Teleports you to the avatar Torley./9 bless torley— Casts Bless on Torley.
Some spells only cast on yourself and do not require a target:
/9 astral— Casts Astral Projection.
Some spells support additional variations (color, theme, effect):
/9 teleport torley shadow
Example: /9 tele tor ener teleports you to "Tor(ley)" using the "energize" variant.
Ending Active Spells
To terminate an active spell, click its name on the HUD or use the command:
/9 dispel
This removes all active magic you’ve cast from the sim.
Spells automatically dispel if:
- The caster logs out
- The caster leaves the region
- The spell is active more than 60 seconds
- The spell crosses into a parcel where scripts or rezzing are disallowed
