The HUD
The HUD jumps back to the corner when I move it.
That is on purpose. Wishmaster fits itself to your screen. To keep it somewhere else, right-click it, choose Edit, drag it where you want, then type /9 hud lockpos. Type /9 hud reset to send it back to the corner.
The HUD is too big or too small.
Type /9 hud size small or /9 hud size large, or an exact size like /9 hud size 0.4.
The HUD stopped responding.
Type /9 status. Wishmaster checks its scripts and restarts any that stopped. If that does not help, detach the HUD and wear it again. Also check that scripts are allowed on the land where you are standing.
I closed the HUD to a small icon. How do I open it?
Click the icon. The HUD opens on its Index page.
Another HUD disappeared when I put Wishmaster on.
They used the same spot on your screen. Wear Wishmaster with Add instead of Wear, or attach one of them to a different spot with Attach to HUD.
Casting
My commands do nothing.
Check three things: the channel (it is /9 unless you changed it), the spelling (lowercase spell names), and that you are wearing the HUD. Only the HUD's owner can command it.
It says "Error - Invalid Spell or Target".
Wishmaster could not find a spell with that name. Check the spelling against the Spell Library. Short names work, as long as they match the start of the spell's name.
My spells don't appear in this place.
The land probably does not allow scripts or building. Spells end when they move onto land like that. Try a sandbox to check.
My spells disappear after a while.
Spells end by themselves after 60 seconds, when you leave the region, or when you log out. This keeps regions clean and lag-free.
Teleport makes me click an orb.
That is normal without RLV. Turn on RLV in your viewer and Teleport moves you straight away. See RLV.
I can't use Teleport Home, Eject or Unsit.
These only work on land you own, or where your group gives you rights.
Other people
My spells push people around and I don't want that.
Turn on Safe Mode: Index → Utilities → Safe Mode. Your spells become visual only.
Someone put a hex on me.
Ask a friend to cast Bless on you, or cast it on yourself if you can. The person who cast the hex can also end it with /9 dispel.
How do I stop all my magic at once?
Type /9 dispel.
